He was predeceased by: his wife Jenny Avrith; his child Marlyn Caplan; his grandson-in-law David Freedman; his siblings, Harry (Bertha Avrith), Nettie (Abe Shragie), Sam (Beatrice Avrith), Charles Avrith, Henry Avrith (Natalie Avrith) and Moses; and his brother-in-law Harry Rubin.
He is survived by: his grandchildren-in-law, Philip, Susan, Jason, Gena, Bryant, Shari and Teddy; his great grandchildren, Michael, Megan, Greg, Ryan, Logan, Zachary, Emily, Lexie and Maya; his great great grandchild Ellie; and his nieces and nephews, Farla, Penny and Pietro. He is also survived by his family and friends.
