He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son David Melnyk (Lyndsay Prontack); his grandsons, Owen and Hayden Melnyk; his sister Judy; his nephews, Stephen and Brian Sherman; his great-niece Carol Bedard; and his parents, Peter Melnyk and Rachel Melnyk.
