It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rabbi Daniel Victor Elkin (Montréal, Québec), who passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his spouse Gitel Elkin; his children, Shalom-Zion Elkin (Susana Taylor) and Abbie (Steven Samuels); his siblings, Irene (Stephen Lipper), JJ (Barbara Elkin) and Brahm (Marilyn Elkin); his grandchildren, Zachary, Jaydon Elkin, Leba and Maya Samuels; and his nephews, Gregory (Andrea), David Lipper, Jon (Chantal), Rosetta-Sarah, Joshua and Jeremy Elkin.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
