He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Deborah Miriam (Allan) and Graham George (Sherri); his wife Miriam; and his sister Margaret. He was also cherished by wife and 2 children.

In his much later years, Reginald developed Parkinson's disease along with other complications.
