Though Rita may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Buono. She is survived by: her children, Franco (Anastasia) and Anna Maria (Alain); and her grandchildren, Jessica (Alessandro), Giuseppe (Sophia), Anthony and Nicole. She is also survived by her siblings, and many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex (6825 R. Sherbrooke E, Montréal, QC H1N 1C7). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Complexe Funéraire Sherbrooke (6825 R. Sherbrooke E, Montréal, QC H1N1C7).
