He is survived by: his wife Abigail Garcia of Rodriguez; his children, Blanca Idalia (Felipe), Guadalupe (Siamak), Miguel Alfonso, Elizabeth (Jorge) and Roberto (Luciana); his grandchildren, Edwin (Sandra), Abigail (Alejandro), Hadasa (Mikhail), Keila (Peter), Sarah (Jeremy), Esau, Michelle (Nestor), Ingrid (Christian), Katia (Daniel), Alfonso and Carlos (Nancy); and his great grandchildren, Liam, Jamilah, Xariah, Aylah, Thiago, Brooks, Lucas, Violetta, Kelsy, Zoe, Aylen, Asher, Xavier, Delilah, Michelle, Jean Carlos and Nicole Elizabeth.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ville-Marie Memorial Pavilion (6893 R. Sherbrooke E, Montréal, QC H1N1C7). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Complexe Funéraire Pavillon Ville-Marie (6893 R. Sherbrooke E, Montréal, QC H1N1C7). A reception was held on Monday, January 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Ville-Marie Memorial Pavilion (6893 R. Sherbrooke E, Montréal, QC H1N1C7). A burial was held on Monday, January 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Repos Saint-François-D'Assise Cemetery (6893 R. Sherbrooke E, Montréal, QC H1N1C7).
