He was predeceased by: his sister Miriam (Shia Herszkopf); his parents, Sophie Mangel and Henry Mangel; and his parents-in-law, Molly and Moe Rykles.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Rykles; his children, Jeffrey Mangel (Lisa Lansky), Joy Mangel (Robert Stein) and Gary Mangel (Mai Yasué); and his sister Irene (Bernie Kott). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
