She was predeceased by: her spouse Gerson Byer; her brothers, Harold and David Laskin; her sisters-in-law, Mildred Rudner (Alex) and Zvi Tyberg; and her friend Marilyn.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark, Steven and Paul Eysie; her grandchildren, Max and Teryn Byer (Greg Morel); her great grandchildren, Jackson and Josephine; her daughter-in-law Shelley Byer (Andrew Stoppelmann); her sisters-in-law, Rhona Laskin Wexler and Shulamit Tyberg-Isaacs (Kim Isaacs); and her friends, Wilma, Eleanor, Naomi, Reisha and Margaret. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM and on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A shiva was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
