She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Strohl; her parents, Morris Amsel and Gussie Amsel; her siblings, Harry Amsel, Toby, Charles Veinish and Benjamin Shapiro; and her siblings-in-law, Morty Wexler, Evie and Myer Shrier.

She is survived by: her children, Mark (Heidi Strohl) and Maureen (Lorne Switzman); her grandchildren, Harris, Hilary Switzman, Dana Strohl, Mike Lebhar, Matthew Strohl, Barb Evans, Rachel Switzman and Jamie Stoller; her great grandchildren, Finley, Sam, Levi, Jade and Ellie; and her sibling-in-law Tsippy.
