She is survived by : her husband Richard Ippersiel; her sons, Matthew (Nikki) and Patrick (Tara); her siblings, Diane, Ronald (Eliane), Johanne, Jacques (Johanne), Peter (Christiane), Anne-Marie (Gilbert) and Jacqueline (Sylvio); and her sister-in-law Diane (André). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be sent to Saint Columba House or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

“I am very sorry to hear this. I remember when Rick and Susan moved in next door to my family's home in Lachine. And I remember working at Jewish General Hospital and speaking with Susan after she had given birth to her and Rick's first son. I remember her as a sweet, friendly, person.
