She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Leonard and Margaret Elizabeth Elliott; her husband Rev. Richard Alden Bristo; and her brother Thomas Gregory Elliott. She is survived by: her children, Susan and Richard; her pets, Oshie and Kailee; her children, Mavis Aubichon of Cumberland, BC and Matthew Bristo of Vancouver, BC; her grandchildren, Brody MacGregor, Ayrienna MacGregor and Jaidin Aubichon; her nephew Kerry Bristo (Marion); her nieces, Sharleen Gatecliffe (Richard) of Ontario, Lorie Dyer (Ted) of Ontario, Meghan Herman (Brooke) and Rebecca Elliott; and her siblings-in-law, Joy Archer and Dudley Bristo (Caroline) of Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bridgewater Baptist Church, Liverpool Baptist Church, Inter-Church Food Bank or Health Services Foundation of the South Shore.
