She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary McCardle and Robert Lyon; her son Kirk (Sheila); and her siblings, Ruby, Jane, Doris, Robert, Lorna and Grace.
She is survived by: her husband Lorne Achtell; her sons, Stephen (Mary Jean), Ernest (Sandra) and Christopher (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Adam (Marie-France), Ashley (Michel), Mitchell, Kate (Kelsey), James, Sarah, Ines and Malachai; and her great grandchildren, Emily and Elizabeth. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mulgrave-et Derry, Québec or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
