Ralph left this world on July 9, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane McKoy and Alfred Syvret; his wife Joan Element; and his son Paul Syvret. He is survived by: his children, Sharon (Guy), Carla (Sylvain), Noreen (Darryl), Lorne (Kim), Jerry (Sharon), Roderick and Lindsay (Lois); and his daughter-in-law Susan. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, his 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, any expression of sympathy can be expressed by a donation, in memory of Mr. Syvret, to the Gaspé Hospital Foundation.
