We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2025, at the age of 93, Ernest James Shea of Pointe-Claire, Québec passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Ernest James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ernest James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ernest James leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernadette Shea (Desormeaux) and Earl Shea; and his wife Nancy Shea. He is survived by: his children, James Shea (Kristen) of Lyme, Connecticut and Ann Shea (Robert Napholz) of Riverdale; and his grandchildren, Aidan and Lily Shea.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to support Parkinson's research.
