We bid farewell to Gordon Kenneth Mohr of Pontiac, Québec, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 5, 2025 at the age of 80. Gordon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his first love Jane Gavan; his parents, Allen Mohr and Eva Mohr; and his siblings, Marjorie (Ron), Connie, Leita, Dorothy, Keith (Shirley), Goldie (Mary) and Frank.
He is survived by: his wife Edith McNamara Kelly; his children, Mike (Jowita), Dave (Kerry-Lynn), Dan (Keena), John (Susie), Colleen (Mike) and Ed (Meghan); his grandchildren, Liam, Mason, Lily-Jane, Evan, Kathleen, Grace, Patrick, Jack (Vanessa), MacKenzie (Stephen), Shane, Sydney, Connor, Claire and Emma; and his great grandchildren, Bennett and Calvin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home (1040 Rue de Clarendon, Quyon, QC J0X2T0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wesley United Church (4634 5e Concession, Quyon, QC J0X2V0). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Mohr's Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gavan's Hotel (1157 Rue de Clarendon, Quyon, QC J0X2V0).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Beechgrove Rink, which will henceforth be renamed the Gordie Mohr Rink, in honour of this wonderful man.
