He was predeceased by: his parents, Aime and Ida; his siblings, Lucille Buissière, Lucille Ladouceur, Leo and Yvon; his parents-in-law, Michael and Bella Desabrais; and his siblings-in-law, Ken, Gerald, Fred and Barb.

He is survived by: his wife Claire; his children, Josée and Marcel; his daughter-in-law Sylvie; his grandchildren, Ammanda and Alexandre (Jessy); his great grandchildren, Gabee, Veni and Rylee; his brother Richard (Denise); his siblings-in-law, Jean-Paul Buissière, Jacqueline Ladouceur, Ed Desabrais (Joan) and Marilyn Desabrais; his godchildren, Cathy, Donny and Julie; and his adoptive sons, David and John. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
