He was predeceased by: his father Michael Bilyk; his stepfather Samuel Uskiw; his grandparents, Catherine (Wladyka), Thomas Schurko, Eugenia (Osipa) and Anthony Bilyk; and his mother Olga Bilyk.

He is survived by: his wife June; his sons, Brennen (Breanna), Bryce and Cameron; his granddaughters, Mallory and Daphne; his siblings, Janet Klassen (Kenneth), Rosemary Snyder, Barry Uskiw (Cynthia) and Tammy Uskiw (Eddie); his parents-in-law, Bernice and Robert Bissell; his brother-in-law Kevin Bissell (Christine); his sister Rose; his child-in-law Breanna (Drennan); Tammy. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
