He was predeceased by: his wife Selma Norton; his parents, Joseph Delisle and Elizabeth Diabo; and his siblings, Muriel, Tessie and Dan.

He is survived by: his daughters, Dee, Tsita (Loran) and Erica; his grandchildren, Tkahentehtha (Charlie), Shako'nikonhriiostha, Tionaho, Shaoiehra (Tony), Iohontsarahkwasheton (Lakwaho), Kanentahawi (Ryan), Iahkohkatste (Theo), Kelly, Peach, Eric, Skahentati and Crissann; his great grandchildren, Shakaonhaherha (Sara), Onkwatasatarhase, Ronikonhrakatste, Charlise Tiohahen, Olivia, Taiawenhatie (Mark), Iesennakwennienstha, Rawenhtsawakon, Rakehnhoktha, Iewennatatie, Rarontisere, Roriwakeronnion, Kyden, Wahanati, Tharoniahnonha, Atewennatékha, Awenniserahthe, Wentiioh and Kahétiioh; his great great grandchildren, Tehanotawaks, Tehaw, Yeháhas, Tsyuhyahawe, Tehanatakwa and Raniehtaroron; his brothers, Morley and Glen; his aunt Ruth Diabo; and his friends, Andy, Tricia, Lynne, Frankie, Freddy and Sny. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Longhouse. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM.

As he was a first language Kanien'kéha speaker, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Iakwahwatsiratátie Language Nest in his memory.
