With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Atholl Smith (Shawville, Québec), who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Morna Hamond (late Gordon) and Lowell Smith. He is survived by: his children, Patricia, Lincoln (Wendy) and Mark; his grandchildren, Christopher Shea, Curtis Shea (Chelsey), Pamela Shea, Spencer Smith and Julia Smith; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Grayson and Wesley; his siblings, Marian Graham (late Ivan) and Brent Smith (Sharon); and his sister-in-law Ruth Smith.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Maison Funéraire Hayes Funeral Home (134 Rue Centre, Shawville, QC J0X2Y0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Free Methodist Church (54 Rue Leslie, Campbell's Bay, QC J0X1K0).
