He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Murray (Horner); his parents, Clarence Murray and Rhoda Murray (Schwartz); and his siblings, Laird Murray, Bryan Murray (Geri) and Laurie Barber (Jerry).

He is survived by: his children, Tim (Kathy), Nancy (Ken Wilson) and Vicki Chamberlain (Ken Polson); his grandchildren, Justin, Hailey (Joran Graham), Jared (Rori Richardson), Andrew, Laura, Jake, Jenna (Jordan Bartusek) and Leah (Brett Mundle); his great grandchildren, Camden, Landyn and Reece; his siblings, Darleen Murphy (Bert), Bill Murray (Ann), Lorraine Hodgins (Basil), Terry Murray (Linda), Karen Campbell (Terry) and Kim Murray (Mike Malette); and his sibling-in-law Gail (late Don Gamble).

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home (134 Rue Centre, Shawville, QC J0X1M0). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Shawville United Church (410 Rue Main, Shawville, QC J0X2Y0).
