It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edtih (Newcommon) Hogg (Shawville, Québec), who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Edtih had on those she encountered along her journey. She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley; and her parents, Samuel Newcommon and Lucy Evans. She is survived by: her sister Bertha Arney; and her great-niece Jennifer.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hayes Funeral Home (134 Rue Centre, Shawville, QC J0X2Y0).
