He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Maheral; his parents, Benoit Bastien and Elizabeth Trudeau; his parents-in-law, John Maheral and Iphignie LaSalle; his children, Vaughan (Cathy), Lawanda (Alain) and Shane (Mirella); his grandchildren, Sarah, Dustin, Mallory, Malcolm, William and Rayne; his stepgrandchildren, Melissa, Jon and Ben Nyveld; his family, Sandra, Dianne (Bob), Anne (Paul), Claude and Brenda (Jeff); his sister Jeanette; and his siblings-in-law, Beatrice (Em), Clarence (Carolyn), Raymond (late Louise), Bernadette (late Richard), Joan (late Brent), Richard, Victor (Heather), John (late Sharon), Francis (Brian), Julie (John), Rita (Clarence), Helen (Eric) and Cathy (Jack). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
