He was predeceased by: his parents, Erlin Tubman and Gertrude Baird; his brothers, Cedric Tubman, Carl Tubman (Gail Orr) and Lorne Tubman (Mona Lasalle); and his sister-in-law Betty Young (late David Jones).
He is survived by: his wife Susan Young; his children, Shawn (Shelley), Bradley (Dawn) and Scott (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Travis, Nick (Krista), Sheena (Kurtis), Teegan, Olivia, Cora, Avery, Blake, Abigail, Aiden and Bailey; his siblings, Kevin (Judy), Gloria (Kerry), Joyce (late Roland), Glen (Danielle), Gary (Anne) and Jimmy; and his brother-in-law Douglas Young (Ramona). He is also survived by his extended family, many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home (134 Rue Centre, Shawville, QC J0X2Y0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
