She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Charles Sheppard; her parents, Émile Dubois (Louis) and Elizabeth Goodsell; her children, Michelle (Georges), Samantha (Daniel) and Christopher; her grandchildren, Heyden, Abby and Noah; and her brothers, Mike (Daphne), Paul and Danny. She was also cherished by many other relatives and dear friends.
